We’re Back on the Beautiful Water

If you’ve ever been out on one of our chartered boats to fish you’ve already met at least one of our friendly Captains and deck hands. When you come back this year, you’ll see that our Captain . Kurtand his wife Gayleen are the new owners of Betty Kay Charters! We’re all in good hands and ready to bring in a great 2019 on the shimmering blue water.

Ocean fishing is an experience everyone should have at least once. You might live in the area and decide it’s finally time to try it, or you might be traveling here on vacation. Our visitor’s website says that “Charleston is Oregon’s Adventure Coast’s gateway to outstanding ocean beaches, state parks, and stunning untouched scenery.” Or you might just be driving through. Whichever it is, don’t be surprised if you get “hooked” on fishing. It’s an activity you can try alone and then meet others on the boat, or bring your friends and family. If you’re having a destination wedding check off “fun activities” on your list of things to do. We promise that no one will forget this one. (Oh, and congratulations your wedding.)

If you’re a little reticent about being out there, have no fears. We’ll make sure you get the USCG safety instructions and will give you tips on bringing in a great catch and we make it our mission to be sure that you’re comfortable being on the ocean. You’ll feel like a pro when we bring you back in. And how proud you’ll be about the fish you caught! It’s a day made for selfies.
