It’s time for the 34th Annual Charleston Crab Feed! On Saturday, February 10th, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., volunteers will be serving up whole or half fresh crab dinners with side dishes of salads, beans and bread and a beverage, and for an extra $1, your choice of a cake or pie serving. Whole crab dinners are $20, and half crab dinners are $16 but prices will be subject to the markets.

There will also be local wine, craft beer, crab bibs, entertainment and lots of fun. And vendor coupons and prize drawings during the festival! Bring your family and your friends, or come by yourself and make new friends or see old ones! This party is the main fundraising event for the Charleston Visitor Center but also provides funding to other needs in the Charleston community. How nice to give back while you’re having a great meal.

Join everyone at the North Bend Community Center at 2222 Broadway, in North Bend, Oregon. For those of you who aren’t local residents, make reservations at one of our fine hotels in Coos Bay, North Bend or Charleston and enjoy the shopping, hiking and the beach. Not to mention our wonderful fishing harbor. Just click here to Book Your Trip.

The other exciting news is that Betty Kay Charters is just a month away from starting its 2018 season. On March 1st we’ll have our first trip with a half day of rock fishing. Take a look at our calendar and see what date and activity appeals to you. We’ll take you out for ocean fishing with our friendly Captains, and we’ll make sure you get your safety instructions and are comfortable on the water.
